The Call of The Wild

I finished Peter Pan, and I chose the book, The Call of The Wild. It seems like an interesting book, but very sad. It's about a dog that lives on a farm. He eventually gets kidnapped and taken to some kind of kennel. There, he is abused and hit with clubs and whips. He is forced to sleep out in the cold snow and he is supposed to find food and water all on his own. I think it will be a more interesting book as I read on.
